Parts & Supplies
  • Engine oil (check OEM spec — 10W-40 or 15W-50 typical)
  • Oil filter (OEM or equivalent)
  • Drain plug crush washer
Procedure
  1. 01Warm engine for 2–3 minutes to thin oil, then shut off
  2. 02Place drain pan under engine drain plug
  3. 03Remove drain plug with 17mm socket — let oil drain fully (5 min)
  4. 04Remove oil filter with filter wrench — catch residual oil
  5. 05Install new crush washer on drain plug
  6. 06Torque drain plug to 30 Nm (22 ft-lb)
  7. 07Pre-fill new filter with fresh oil, install hand-tight + ¾ turn
  8. 08Add correct oil quantity (check dipstick/sight glass)
  9. 09Run engine 1 min, check for leaks, recheck level
